These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the ROH apps and web services operated by Road Of Habit (ROH), and the rights and responsibilities of users and the operator. By installing an app, creating an account, signing in, subscribing, or continuing to use the services, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose
These Terms define the matters necessary for using ROH apps and web services, including content access, accounts, user content storage, subscriptions, and advertising.
2. Definitions
- "User" means an individual who uses an app or service under these Terms.
- "Member" means a user who signs up or signs in through a Google account, Apple account, or another authentication method supported by the app.
- "User Content" means notes, photos, audio, recordings, uploads, or other materials that a user enters, records, uploads, or stores in the app.
- "Paid Services" means premium features provided through App Store subscriptions or in-app purchases.
3. Effect and Changes
These Terms become effective when posted in the app or on the official website. The operator may revise these Terms when service changes, legal changes, or operational policy changes are necessary.
Material changes will be announced through the app or official website. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the service and request account deletion. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
4. Accounts and Sign-Up
Users may create an account or sign in through Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Firebase Authentication, or other methods provided by the app. Users must provide accurate information and are responsible for safely managing account access and sign-in credentials.
Unless caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence, the operator is not responsible for damage caused by account misuse, theft, or third-party access resulting from the user's negligence.
5. Service Provision
The app may provide the following features:
- Core app features and content
- Favorites, notes, record storage, and synchronization
- Profile, photo, audio storage, and sharing features
- Subscription entitlement checks, premium features, and purchase restoration
- Push notifications, advertising, and customer support
The operator may change, suspend, or restrict all or part of the features for service quality, security, technical reasons, or changes in external service policies.
6. Analysis and Information
Analysis results, reports, recommendations, or similar information provided by the app are reference information intended to help users. They do not constitute medical diagnosis or treatment, professional advice, or a guarantee of outcomes.
Users should use the app according to their own condition and environment. If discomfort or health issues occur, users should stop using the app and seek professional assistance.
7. User Content
Users must have the rights necessary for any User Content submitted or uploaded to the app. Users must not upload or share another person's copyrighted work, likeness, personal information, recordings, or other protected material without permission.
When users store or submit User Content in the app, the operator may process that content to the extent necessary to provide, store, analyze, back up, synchronize, support, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
User Content generally remains owned by the user. However, content posted through sharing or community features may be displayed to other users or retained according to the policy of that feature.
8. User Obligations
Users must not engage in the following conduct:
- Using or infringing another person's account, personal information, photos, audio, or content without authorization
- Entering false information, sharing accounts, unauthorized login, bypassing subscription entitlements, or interfering with service operation
- Posting or transmitting profanity, defamation, illegal information, obscene material, discriminatory or hateful expression, or rights-infringing content
- Copying, decompiling, reverse engineering, automating access to, crawling, or bypassing security measures of the app
- Violating laws, these Terms, in-app notices, or operational policies
If a violation is confirmed, the operator may delete content, restrict features, limit account access, or suspend service use.
9. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Paid Services may be provided through Apple App Store in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment, subscription renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies and the user's App Store account settings.
For apps distributed through the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.
The operator does not collect or store direct payment information such as payment card numbers or bank account numbers. The operator may verify payment-related information necessary to provide the service, such as subscription status, product ID, transaction ID, and expiration date.
Users may manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings. Free trials, discounts, promotions, and their conditions are provided as displayed in the app or App Store.
10. Advertising and External Services
The app may use Google AdMob to show advertisements to free users. During ad display and performance measurement, advertising identifiers, device information, ad impressions, and interaction information may be processed.
The app may use external services such as Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, Sign in with Apple, Apple StoreKit, and the App Store. App features may be limited due to failures, policy changes, or usage restrictions of external services.
11. Privacy
The operator processes personal information only to the extent necessary to provide the service. Collection, use, retention, deletion, and user rights regarding personal information are governed by the ROH Privacy Policy.
12. Service Restrictions and Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion through the in-app account deletion feature or by email. When an account is deleted, the user profile and personal data are deleted, and some linked information may be anonymized or deactivated to retain operational records.

The operator may restrict service use when a user violates these Terms or when necessary for service security, stability, or protection of others' rights.
13. Service Suspension
The operator may temporarily suspend service provision for unavoidable reasons such as system inspection, incident response, security measures, external service failures, natural disasters, laws, or requests from administrative authorities.
The operator will provide advance notice where reasonably possible, but may provide notice afterward in urgent or unpredictable cases.
14. Limitation of Liability
The operator makes reasonable efforts to provide stable service. However, unless caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence, the operator is not responsible for damage caused by the user's fault, network environment, device issues, external service failures, or content entered or shared by users.
Analysis results, reports, and notification information provided in the app are for reference. Users use them under their own judgment and responsibility.
15. Intellectual Property
Intellectual property rights in the app, screen composition, logos, designs, software, databases, service names, and content created by the operator belong to the operator or lawful rights holders.
Users may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, modify, transmit, disclose, or commercially use all or part of the app or service without prior consent from the operator.
16. Minors
The app is intended for users aged 14 or older, and users confirm that they are at least 14 when signing up. Although the app content is suitable for general audiences, sign-up by users under 14 is restricted under applicable Korean laws.
If a minor purchases a Paid Service, consent and supervision by a legal guardian may be required. Paid purchases made without required guardian consent may be subject to cancellation under applicable laws.

The operator may notify users through in-app notices, the official website, email, push notifications, or other appropriate methods. For service use, account deletion, privacy, or subscription inquiries, contact the email below.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises in connection with service use, the user and operator will first attempt to resolve it in good faith. If not resolved by consultation, the dispute will be resolved by the competent court under applicable law.
